Sunflower Wax is a vegetable wax derived by dewaxing sunflower oil. It consists of long chain, saturated esters, providing hardness and crystalline structure with a high melting point.

Sunflower Wax has excellent oil binding capacity and non-sticky skin feel. In lipsticks it contributes to stability, hardness and texture as well as a mouldreleasing agent. It can also provide emolliency, film formation and lubricity and is most commonly used in lipsticks, lip balms, and other anhydrous color cosmetics, foundations, mascaras, skin and hair care.
